General Terms and Conditions of the Dog Hotel - Dogs Home - Abrakadabra

Please read the General Terms and Conditions carefully before booking the services of the “Dog’s Home – Abrakadabra” Dog Hotel. By using our services, you confirm that you are familiar with these terms and agree to them.

1. Reservation terms

  • Reserving accommodation for a dog requires a deposit to confirm the dates.
  • In the event of cancellation, the deposit is non-refundable, except in the event of sudden illness of the dog or owner, a family tragedy or force majeure.
  • The stay agreed upon at the time of reservation is charged in full, even if the owner decides to pick up the dog earlier.

2. Dog admission and boarding requirements

  • The dog must have a passport with valid vaccinations against rabies and infectious diseases.
  • The dog must be treated for internal and external parasites (fleas, ticks).
  • The first visit to the Center must be arranged in advance for an introduction and assessment of the dog’s behavior.
  • The boarding plan and service price are determined on the basis of this assessment.
  • The owner must disclose all behavioral problems (aggression, destructive behavior, self-injury…).
  • Upon admission, a form with the dog’s details is completed and a service agreement is signed.
  • Dogs showing aggression or a high level of stress will not be admitted.
  • Female dogs in heat, or expected to come into heat during the stay, will not be admitted.
  • On arrival, bring: the dog’s passport, enough food, an item carrying the dog’s scent and medication (if needed).
  • The person dropping off or picking up the dog must be the owner or have the owner’s written authorization.
  • Visits to dogs during their stay are not permitted.

3. Drop-off and pickup

  • Dogs may only be dropped off and picked up at times agreed in advance.
  • Drop-off: 9:00–16:00
    Pickup: 9:00–19:00
  • If the dog is picked up 3 hours or more after the time of arrival, an additional 50% of the daily rate is charged.
  • If the owner is late for the appointment, they must wait until the activities at the Center have finished.

4. Unforeseen circumstances

  • If the food provided is insufficient, the Center will supply additional food and charge according to the current price list.
  • If a health problem arises, the dog is taken to the responsible veterinarian in consultation with the owner.
  • All costs of examinations, treatment and transport are borne by the dog’s owner.
  • If a female dog comes into heat during the stay, the owner must pick her up as soon as possible. Otherwise, the dog will be isolated (if conditions permit), and the service price will be increased.
  • The owner bears the full cost of any damage the dog causes to the Center’s furnishings and equipment. The extent of the damage will be assessed by a qualified person.
